Art statement

“Hello, Thank You, I Love You” (2018) - A documentary of an interactive monument.

This artwork is a social experiment and a documentary, and it aims to oppose animal abuse. Fée puts a box with the continuous sound of a dog whimpering on the street when people approach and open the box, they see a handwritten text “ Hello, Thank You, I love You.” in behave of dogs. This simple installation was to create a default scene of animal abandonments, and the document records the public’s interactions and response towards the work.
